The latest update (v1.5) of the popular Android app What Additives? introduces some system updates, database updates and a tuned-up search engine!
You can now easily see if an additive is suitable or not for your diet. Enjoy!

What exactly can What Additives? tell you:

- of course, the number and name of the additive
- type by use (colour, preservative, emulsifier and so on)
- evaluation of its impact on children
- a hint if the additive is vegan, non-vegan or of uncertain origin (there are many additives that may be produced from various sources: animal, plant, microbiotic or synthetic)
- general consumer warning – whether or not it is worth focusing some attention on the safety of the product
- some additional info on contents, origin and specific features

Depending on screen-orientation of your mobile What Additives? makes use of two interface layouts:
– a portrait mode – with an accent on information detail and
– a landscape mode – with an accent on ease and speed of use

Anyway, it’s up to everyone’s own care to compose a safe and healthy diet – it’s all about getting this choice better and better informed.
